The Simonds Ultimate Dinner Competition has been won
The Simonds Homes Ultimate Dinner Competition provided Facebook fans with the opportunity to win a dinner party for themselves and five friends prepared by MasterChef finalist, Courtney Roulston.
The Facebook competition ran from October 16, 2012 for a total of six weeks.
To enter the competition, Facebook users were required to ‘Like’ the Simonds Homes Facebook page and submit their details. They were also encouraged to share the competition with their friends across Facebook and Twitter.
The dinner event was held on the evening of Saturday 23 February, 2013 in the ‘Oxford’ at the Simonds Homes Greenvale Display Centre. The guests were joined for champagne and canapés by members of the Simonds Homes team (Daniel, Shannon, Laurence, Billy G and Rhett) who answered questions and provided a detailed house tour.
Simonds Launches LiveChat
Simonds Chief Executive Officer, Paul McMahon, recently launched a new initiative, Live Chat, which proves customers with real time assistance and support through the Simonds website.
Paul McMahon, said at the recent launch, “As a company, Simonds has been focussing on enhancing our Customer Service Charter at every touchpoint. Our research indicates that more and more prospective customers are using our online services to research their homes. Simonds Live Chat is a natural extension of our new Customer Service Charter, which aims to provide all customers with timely, honest and effective service.”
Simonds Live Chat allows customers to contact a dedicated Simonds Customer Service Representative online who will answer their questions in real time. Paul McMahon continued, “From questions about specific features of new homes to general queries and support, we can now provide answers online and in real time.”
“We are very proud of our new online chat function. It’s an exciting initiative that will change the way we engage with our customers. And importantly, it allows honest and open communication. It is just another way that we’re in it together at Simonds.”

Simonds launches international office
From humble beginnings in Altona just over 60 years ago, Simonds has grown rapidly throughout Victoria, around Australia and now China. Recently, Mark Simonds and Mark Vujovich were in attendance at the official launch of Simonds second International Business Sales Office in Guangzhou, China.
“We were both incredibly impressed with the new Simonds International office,” said Mark Simonds, “it is a very exciting initiative for Simonds, especially with China still developing. We see this as our first steps, but ones we’re very glad to be making.”
Mark Vujovich continues, “We’re very pleased with how the Simonds brand has taken off in China. We anticipate further expansion of the business and increased growth.”
The opening of the new Simonds International Business Sales Office was held on 22 January and included local and international press, along with Simonds staff, investors and other dignitaries.
